According to a report based on the book, Academically Adrift: Limited Learning on College Campuses, “In an average 168-hour week, college students spend just 7 percent of their time studying, while much more of their time is devoted to socializing (50%) and sleeping (24%).” I don’t find this shocking, the first two years are typically your general education classes; and in my opinion they are needless. General education classes are basically a refresher from what you learned in high school.
